Black Quartz Crowns Coronation Concert
Leek, The Netherlands (15 May 2023) – Commissioned by BBC Studios Creative Technology is extremely proud to have delivered the main LED screens and projection mapping of Windsor Castle for the Coronation Concert of King Charles III. ROE Visual's Black Quartz crowned the stage.
With a long history of providing unrivalled audiovisual solutions to a multitude of large-scale live events for BBC Studios, Creative Technology was tasked to deliver the main LED screens and projection mapping, choosing ROE Visual's Black Quartz BQ4 for the job.

Working for BBC Studios to Stufish’s stage design, a 315 sqm curved flown video screen took centre position – displaying stunning imagery and video as well as live playback of the many performances throughout the evening.
ROE Visual's Black Quartz BQ4 outdoor LED screen was selected for the job. It's high brightness of 5000 nits and great contrast made it the perfect panel to do right to the gorgeous content.

With over 10 million viewers watching the huge celebration at home, with many more worldwide and a 20,000 strong audience gathered within Windsor Castle grounds including King Charles III and the Royal Family, the Creative Technology team worked hard throughout the entire planning and delivery stages of the event to ensure a seamless and spectacular show for everyone.
