ROE Visual features at Netflix Post Production Summit
Leek, The Netherlands (24 October 2022) - Netflix Spain will host the Post Production Summit at the Netflix Production Center in Madrid Content City (Tres Cantos). With a focus on helping attendees develop best practices in virtual production technology, workshops and talks are centered around showcasing the cutting-edge technologies driving the industry forward. Collaborating with Netflix, ROE Visual will provide a Black Pearl BP2V2 LED screen for the event.
Netflix Spain hosts a series of training sessions focusing on developing best practices in virtual production technology to help filmmakers understand the workings and advantages of the technology. World-leading companies in the field of virtual production, such as disguise, Mo-sys, and ROE Visual, will provide in-depth information and share their experiences and knowledge to drive the industry forward.
Aligning with ROE Visuals activities in knowledge transfer, the summit will focus on post-production, visual effects, and virtual production for around 300 participants. The event will bring together producers, technicians, students, and trainers from film schools, alongside editors, cinematographers, directors, and other creatives.
About the Post-Production Summit
Attendees will have the opportunity to visit a state-of-the-art virtual set provided by ROE Visual, consisting of the acclaimed Black Pearl BP2V2 LED. The workshops and activities will focus on various aspects of the industry, such as the production of visual effects, color management, and high dynamic range (HDR) image creation. The event will also showcase pioneering techniques such as visual effects made directly from the camera (also known as In-Camera VFX or ICVFX).
