ROE Visual Wins Big at 2024 Parnelli Awards with Topaz
The New LED Panel Takes Home the Indispensable Technology (IT) Award – Video
Chatsworth, CA (January 2024) – The Topaz LED panel from ROE Visual is making a big splash in the creative display market, with a heavy focus on the AV rental space. The panel’s quick adoption has been promising amidst a busy year of large-scale, live events and tours. Topaz’s newest accolade comes from the 2024 Parnelli Awards where it won the Indispensable Technology (IT) Award – Video.
The Annual Parnelli Awards are a staple in the live event industry, recognizing the individuals behind some of the greatest live events of the year. The 2024 award show was no exception, taking place on the evening of January 26th alongside the NAMM trade show at the Anaheim Convention Center. Presented by trade publications PLSN and FOH, this year marked the 22nd annual show.
The Topaz panel series has been growing in popularity globally for the better half of 2023, with the live events industry taking a particular interest in the new LED panel. Winning the Indispensable Technology (IT) Award – Video is a credit to the research and development that went into the product design. The Topaz series truly is the all-purpose live events LED panel, with high-precision mechanics and excellent visual quality. The revolutionary platform comes in three configurations, including flat, curve, and cube for any creative application. Paired with its reliable performance, this cost-conscious panel presents itself as the perfect AV rental solution.
Last year, ROE Visual won the same award for its Vanish V8T LED panel. A favorite with the touring community, the semi-transparent panel was innovatively used in numerous shows and live events in 2022, most notably Ed Sheeran's Mathematics Tour. The artist’s stage design was impressive, incorporating thousands of feet of LED and completely immersing the audience in Sheeran’s artistic vision.
Other prizes awarded during the Parnelli’s included productions that ROE was also a part of in 2023. These included the Metallica M72 Tour, Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour, and more.
“We’re incredibly excited and optimistic about Topaz’s future in the rental market,” notes Frank Montero, Managing Director of ROE Visual US, “winning the IT award reassures us of the direction the industry is taking and the feedback we’ve been receiving from our clients. Our team is honored to be accepting this award from the Parnelli’s.”
The Topaz series is next being showcased at the ISE 2024 show in Barcelona, Spain alongside other ROE Visual favorites in Hall 3, Stand C700.
