AVE Audio Visual Equipment Verhengsten GmbH & Co. and ROE Visual collaborated for Volkswagen/CARIAD at the IAA. The booth included an interactive LED stage for presentations and conferences. A Black Marble floor, combined with a motion tracking system, was added to create spectacular and immersive effects. 

While the presenters could see the car's outline on the #ROEVisual BM4 LED floor, the #GhostFrame technology added a hidden tracking pattern to the LED floor, making it possible to position the 3D model of the car with hyper-accuracy.

#XRStage just opened its largest ICVFX sound stage in Los Angeles, supporting the evolution of storytelling with a magnificent studio equipped with the latest technology for virtual production. ROE Visual is proud to be involved in this significant project that enables and empowers the next great generation of filmmakers. The studio's LED volume consists of 1020 Black Pearl BP2 LED panels placed at a 270-degree curve. The studio is further equipped with #UnrealEngine and #disguise systems and camera tracking.

After Los Angeles, New York, and Nashville, Creative Technology North America now adds Las Vegas to the list, launching their latest in-camera VFX studio with ROE Visual panels. Congrats! Aimed at West Coast virtual event production spaces, the new studio has a large, curved LED wall consisting of BO3 combined with a BM4 LED floor and a ceiling of V8.

ARRI opens a new state-of-the-art mixed reality studio in the UK. Creative Technology UK designed and installed studio, using ROE Visual Ruby and Carbon LED panels for the 343 sqm LED volume. As one of the largest permanent mixed reality production spaces in Europe the studio is suited for productions of any kind, as well as for events, education and testing.

ARRI and ROEVisual disclose test program. When virtual production and, in particular, mixed reality production took flight in early 2020, ARRI and ROE Visual connected to develop a better understanding of the impact of this technology on both LED volumes and camera performance. This mutual understanding has led to the development of a continuous testing program. Right from the start it became clear for ARRI and ROE Visual that virtual production would become an essential technology. Both companies, leading in respectively image caption and LED technology, realized they are a vital link in the chain in developing and disseminating knowledge in this field.
