M2 Events Group Builds 200-Foot LED Canvas for NADA Show 2026

Massive Multi-Screen Environment Delivers More Than 80 Million Pixels Inside the Las Vegas Convention Center

Chatsworth, USA (September 2026) — M2 Events Group delivered a large-format LED environment for the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Show 2026 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). Designed to create an immersive, high-impact general session experience for nearly 4,000 attendees, the installation featured a 200-foot-wide LED canvas that combined scale, clarity, and flexibility to elevate the audience experience. The system was built using ROE Visual’s Graphite GP 2.6 LED panels, selected for their performance and reliability.

“We’re constantly pushing to create bigger, more impactful environments for our clients,” said Tom Grubbe, CEO of M2 Events Group. “That requires technology we can trust. The ROE Visual GP 2.6 panels gave us the performance and consistency we needed, allowing our team to focus on what matters most, which is bringing the creative vision to life.”

THE PROJECT
The NADA Show is the premier annual convention and expo for franchised new-car dealerships, often referred to as the “Automotive Event of the Year.” It brings together industry leaders for networking, education, and a large marketplace showcasing the latest in automotive products, technology, and services.

As the show’s longtime production partner, M2 Events Group led the design and execution of the visual environment, engineering a multi-screen LED system capable of supporting dynamic content, live presentations, and high-resolution playback. The expansive display served as a central storytelling canvas, enabling seamless transitions between speakers, video content, and branded moments throughout the program.

Highlights included high-energy opening sequences with vehicles racing across the screens, 3D-animated speaker introductions, and large-format IMAG supporting speaker presentations. Each year, M2 partners with TIME Magazine and Ally Financial to produce the TIME Dealer of the Year Award. This year’s expansive canvas provided the perfect setting for multi-screen biographical storytelling and the winner celebration. Beyond the general sessions, M2 supported four dealer franchise meetings held in conjunction with the NADA Show, extending the visual experience across those programs.

Delivering at this scale required precise coordination across creative, engineering, and on-site teams. M2 focused on building a system that would perform reliably under tight timelines and high expectations. The installation featured more than 1,100 ROE Visual Graphite GP 2.6 tiles deployed across three screens.

THE TECH
M2 invested in ROE Visual Graphite 2.6 panels in 2024, expanding its inventory to support large-format LED environments and meet growing client demand for high-resolution, flexible display solutions.

“The GP 2.6 panels are designed for high-efficiency, real-world production environments,” said Matt Knotts, LED Engineer at M2 Events Group. “On a show the size of NADA, they give us a predictable build process and uniform output across the entire canvas. That reliability lets us move faster on install and spend more time dialing in the final image instead of fighting the hardware.”

Graphite has quickly become a go-to LED solution for indoor conference applications, making it a natural fit as M2 expanded its inventory. While the choice itself was no surprise, what caught the ROE Visual team’s attention was the scale of M2’s initial investment. An order of that magnitude signaled that a major project was on the horizon.

At LDI 2025, Tom Grubbe visited the ROE Visual booth and shared early production drawings for the upcoming NADA Show build. Even at that stage, the project stood out for its scale and complexity, with an ultra-wide LED canvas requiring both visual precision and efficient deployment, according to Nick Jevons, Vice President of Business Development for ROE Visual US.

“Plans on paper can only tell you so much, but even then, the project was unmistakably ambitious,” said Jevons. “Graphite was an ideal fit, engineered to deliver exceptional visual performance while supporting the kind of fast, efficient installation a production of this size demands. A few months later when the first photos of the finished build came through, the screen was massive, and the video content created for it was every bit as impressive. Tom and the M2 team clearly live by 'go big or go home,' and the result speaks for itself.”

BY THE NUMBERS

The NADA setup included three screens spanning the LVCC’s North Hall, measuring approximately 200 feet wide and 30 feet high. Delivering more than 80 million pixels across roughly 22,000 pounds of LED, the system ran continuously through three and a half show days and two and a half days of rehearsals.

This project wasn’t just about building big; it required careful planning around pixel mapping, content distribution, processing bandwidth, and physical infrastructure to ensure seamless performance across a canvas of this size.

At the core of the workflow:

  • 2x Pixelhue Q8 switchers (linked), managing 48 4K inputs and 20 4K outputs
  • 6x Disguise VX 4+ media servers driving high-resolution, multi-canvas playback
  • A coordinated signal flow designed for stability, redundancy, and frame-accurate playback across an ultra-wide canvas

LOOKING AHEAD
The collaboration between M2 and ROE Visual highlights the growing demand for large-format, high-resolution LED environments in live events, where creative storytelling and dependable technology must work seamlessly together. As expectations for audience engagement continue to rise, partnerships like this play a key role in delivering impactful experiences.

“We’re seeing a clear shift toward bigger canvases and more immersive environments,” said Grubbe.

“Clients are asking for flexibility and reliability, and we’re continuing to invest in the technology and systems that allow us to deliver on that. ROE has been a strong partner, and we look forward to continuing to push what’s possible with this technology.”

Building on this momentum, M2 is already preparing to deploy its ROE Visual GP 2.6 inventory on an even larger installation this summer.

“We're grateful for M2's trust in Graphite, and confident it will continue to perform for them at the highest level for years to come,” said Jevons. “We're excited to see where they take it next."
